When you request Medicare guidance or support and we transmit your inquiry details to a licensed insurance broker or partner within our Marketing & Carrier Network to fulfill your consultation request, this transfer may technically be characterized as a "sale" or "sharing" under statutory definitions.
2. What Happens When You Opt Out
When you submit an opt-out request through this page:
- We add your email address and telephone number to our internal suppression database.
- Your information will no longer be shared with or transferred to external insurance brokerage networks or third-party marketing partners.
- If you submitted an active inquiry prior to opting out, we notify our partner to cease further outreach.
- You will not be penalized, charged different rates, or denied access to any public educational material available on edgecareguide.com.
3. Authorized Agent Submissions
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. To protect consumer security, an authorized agent must provide written documentation confirming their legal power of attorney or signed authorization from you, and we may verify your identity directly before executing the request.
